January Meetings
January 8 - Weekly Gathering
Agenda
Meet & Greet
Introduce yourself to other people attending this week’s CocoaCoder meeting. Don’t forget you business cards or some other great way to tell people who you are.
Colin Anawaty – Saltlick Labs
Colin talks about how Saltlick Labs, creators of Little Black Book and BreakkUp.com, got its start in the iPhone market and in the process made its way into the mobile market. How were app titles chosen, in what way was the company formed, how does Saltlick Labs function?
Jason Moore – Sample Code Tour
If you go to http://developer.apple.com/iphone and check-out the sample code, you will find an examples of Cocoa Touch that will help you solve many of your coding bottlenecks. That’s the good news. The bad news is that some of this code is oblique in what it tries to solve. Jason will give us a guide to clear this mess up.
Jim Hillhouse – UIAccelerometer
Jim will introduce UIAccelerometer, the tool, along with UIAcceleration, that gives developers the ability to turn the iPhone into the ultimate flight simulator.
